I recently tried to play the game's multiplayer via Discord call, and discovered a really annoying problem. While with the use of an external program, the game DOES pick up audio from external apps such as Discord as if it were microphone audio--It does not allow for two microphones to play the same round.
This is despite the game's multiplayer screen having a microphone option, being able to select an individual microphone for each player. No matter what I do, the game only picks up on whatever microphone is selected in the options menu, even on the player who has the other one selected.
Both microphones work completely fine with the game when selected via the options menu, but not when they are only selected on the multiplayer screen.
This issue persists between 4.14 and 5.1, as those are the only two versions I tested (one being the first I downloaded upon buying the game, the second just now for the purposes of testing)
Outside of this niche scenario, the game is still very fun and very playable, but the option for every player to have their own microphone is rather misleading when it doesn't even work.
edited because i've fixed my problem and wanted to put this here so other people can use my solution
since the problem is a specific kind of output device not working the workaround i use is to set the game's output to any random extra outputs your system has like your monitor's speakers or an unused audio port
go into something like OBS and create a new scene with an audio source that's linked to whatever you've set choicer voicer to output to
then right click the output volume bar to go into advanced audio properties and set audio monitoring to either monitor only or monitor and output and then you can hear everything

Hello! Is there a chance you could add an option that moves the waveform back a set number of ms for us with laggy mics? I've been testing AndroidMic as an input and the buffering is very bad, it's about 100ms and it's unplayable at that point.
Accounting for mic delay is a much-needed feature, but will require a complete re-write of a lot of older systems in order to get it working. Unfortunately, I'm unable to give an ETA on that.
Game worked fine at first but then crashed and then kept crashing more and more often. The pop up says its an issue with the Godot Engine. Any solutions? Also it only crashes when recording longer audios.
I've really enjoyed watching this game and I am sure I am gonna have a blast playing, but I wish there were more graphics options, as it runs very poorly on my laptop.

Boooo zero updates in 2 years.. 5 bucks for a dead game with zero updates. yall are that upset? this isn't some groundbreaking game, lack of packs and updates. 0/10 for 5 bucks.

Hello! i just booted up the choicer voicer, and my mic works in live mic testing but not in actual gameplay or the record/playback mic test, though the gameplay and playback shows feedback as if something was there. does anyone know how to fix this?
EDIT: i just saw that there was a thing about this on the game's page itself and has no fix yet
EDIT AGAIN: the temporary solution until a patch comes out is to use the compatibility branch
Hiiii, I was just wondering if there's anywhere I can get a png of the game's logo to use as a Steam custom library asset. I can't find one online and trying to cut it out from existing material seems to not be going so well for me
Was excited to get this game but its not for me id ask for a refund back but i dont want like people to come at me saying "oh didnt you read it it says when buying this game you accept that its not finished" and what not. i did read it but after trying it out its just not my kinda prefrence kinda game...
Genuinely love playing this with my partner, it's such an absolute cluster of chaos. Can't count how many times I've had to shout "Chicken jockey" at full blast
The v0.14.15 copy that Vinny streamed several months back was a private beta build that was buggy and lacked the standard gamemodes due to compatibility issues.
Status update: Dub Mode is fully functioning with the old game modes. You will also be able to tag dub clips with *characters*, and filter for specific characters in a dub pack. Still needs more bug fixes and QoL changes before it’ll be out, however. Thank you for your patience.
I tried to buy the game using PayPal, but I get an error message from itch.io saying there was a problem executing the payment. The issue is not with my PayPal account as I can still use it buying stuff on other websites.

Removed for the time being because it was a low-effort joke mode for 4.4.14. Perhaps I can add it back in a later update.

go to the appdata folder on windows and put the game folder from your mods there (i get my mods from gamebanana as its a trusted source for mods)
